The SD2PSX/PSXMemCard Memory card adapter for the PS2 is the latest and greatest option to enable you to use an SD card to store and play your PS2 backups and ROMs via OPL (Open Loader), but can be a real challenge to get set up correctly (Ask me how I know!!). With this bundle, the hard work has been done for you – the SD2PSX and MicroSD cards have been configured and tested to work perfectly together. The SD2PSX / PSXMemCard is configured with the correct OPL version and to work flawlessly with the SD card on ALL Fat and Slim PS2s, and has a virtual memory card set up to boot both via FreeMcBoot AND Funtuna / Fortuna at the press of a button. It has a HUGE 1TB or 512GB quality MicroSD fitted, loaded to the brim with hand-picked, top-rated content.

Please note – a high quality MicroSD card will be supplied, brand is dependent on stock on hand at the time.

What makes a SD2PSX / PSXMemCard Modded PS2 so special?

It’s that its read speeds approach that of an internal HDD installed on a Fat PS2, and FAR EXCEED those of a USB drive. Full motion videos don’t stutter with the SD2PSX/PSXMemCard (except for a few known games) like they do with USB and it allows the use of ROMs over 4GB in size without having to break them up using complicated tools – it’s brilliant! The other great thing is the card is small and portable and can be transferred and used in other compatible PS2s!

The SD2PSX / PSXMemCard has a sharp and bright OLED display which shows the currently selected memory card, indicates SD drive activity, and it uses the GameID of the current game to identify and create a virtual memory card just for that specific game. It has a setup menu you can easily navigate using the 2 action buttons on the card and it can be connected to a PC via a USB-C cable (not included) to easily update firmware if required.

The SD2PSX / PSXMemCard can also be used to save games for a PS1, setting up separate virtual memory cards per game, and can be returned to PS2 mode easily.

This SD2PSX / PSXMemCard mod kit is now compatible with ALL PS2 Fat and Slim models! Simply select either FreeMcBoot or Funtuna, and boot into a modded console!
