This console is in NEAR MINT condition – not badly scratched up like many of them are. There may be some light marks on the console, from general use. Controller(s) is also in excellent condition, with only some minor signs of use. If you’re looking for an awesome condition PS2 SLIM, this is the one! It has seen very little use and you can tell – the console is spotlessly clean, has an excellent controller and all controls are crisp.

This console has upgraded 1TB or 512GB storage in a MX4SIO Adapter loaded with content and a 64MB FMCB memory card! Watch the video to see a little more about how it is set up and what it has on it.

The MX4SIO Memory card adapter for the PS2 is the latest option to enable you to use an SD card to store and play your PS2 backups and ROMs via OPL (Open Loader), but can be a real challenge to get set up correctly (Ask me how I know!!). With this bundle, the hard work has been done for you – two cards configured and tested to work together. The 64MB FMCB Memory Card is configured to boot automatically into OPL (the correct version!) and configured to work flawlessly with the MX4SIO. The MX4SIO has a HUGE 1TB or 512GB quality brand MicroSD fitted, loaded with hand-picked, top-rated content, including all disc and box art.

What makes the MX4SIO so special is that its read speeds approach that of an internal HDD installed on a Fat PS2, and FAR EXCEED those of a USB drive. Full motion videos don’t stutter with the MX4SIO (except for a few known games) like they do with USB and it allows the use of ROMs over 4GB in size without having to break them up using complicated tools – it’s brilliant! The other great thing is the cards are small and portable and can be transferred and used in other compatible PS2s!

The DVD drive has also been tested as working with PS2 and PS1 games (I did not have a PS2 Blue CD disc to test).

It also comes with a USB-Powered HDMI adapter which can be used instead of the included Sony Composite cable.
PLEASE NOTE: Most people are not aware that these HDMI adapters will display PS2 games only, and not PS1 or Retro games and emulators, due to their low resolution not being supported by the adapter. It’s for this reason I generally use the standard Sony AV cord, but if you’re all about the PS2 games, it’ll be perfect!
